Airport Dad was invited to talk with Dean Jackson following their successful gig at the Metronome. Jackson commended the band for their performance, noting it was the fullest he's ever seen the venue. The band were equally surprised to hear they were featured on BBC One in the lead up to their interview.
Jackson remembered Isaac Brown from the last time he played for BBC Introducing three years prior, and was pleased to hear he and Seth Robinson, of The Clementines, were still making music.

Kids On Bikes celebrated the release of their first single, 'All I Need', with host of BBC Music Introducing, Dean Jackson. They were played amongst an assortment of "the best of under the radar local music".
While in the ears of Jackson, it was commented the band produced a, "distinctive," and, "quirky," sound, being comparable with likes of The Cure and The Smiths. Their productivity was admired by Jackson as he expressed his excitement for the upcoming album.
